Hi, I’m Dave.
I build technology companies and products.
I’m a founder, engineer, and product leader. I co-founded SolveBio, built software and teams across life sciences and consumer technology, and have led product and engineering organizations through growth and acquisition.
Modern AI tools have dramatically shortened the distance between an idea and working software. I can explore more ideas, build faster, and stay much closer to the product.
Today I lead product at Twos, an app built around a simple idea: one conversation can make your day.
Closer to home
After years of building technology companies, I’ve become increasingly interested in what happens when the same tools and ways of working are applied to the places we actually live.
- Can a city make what it already offers dramatically easier to discover?
- Can technology create more human connection instead of less?

How I work
- Stay close to the problem.
- The best product decisions come from understanding the people dealing with the problem, not from starting with the technology.
- Make something useful.
- I’d rather put one genuinely useful thing in someone’s hands than describe what a future platform might eventually do.
- Stay close to the work.
- I still design, prototype and write code myself, and I like moving directly from an idea to something tangible.
